This hype might have fans itching to play games similar to Spyro in the meantime. Since Crash 4 was developed & published by the same teams that made the Reignited Trilogy, fans have hope that the purple dragon will receive a new game of his own in due time. Now don’t get me wrong I was hoping for a Spyro 4 as much as you guys but I don’t think now is a good time especially since Spyro does a lot better sales wise on PlayStation than on Xbox. Edit 1: I was just saying that the game would sell better on PlayStation than Xbox I’m sure that reignited trilogy’s sales agree with me there I am since aware that at least some of Activision games are coming to PS5 because of prior agreements but I think if this includes Spyro (doubt it) then it would have been announced by now. Spyro is a PlayStation face meaning that as an Xbox exclusive again it will sell well but not enough to continue working TFB may come out as a Sony sub company instead of a Activision sub company but that is also unlikely more likely than Activision not staying with Microsoft but still unlikely. Now that Activision is owned by Microsoft I don’t think that Spyro 4 is likely to happen - if they stay with Microsoft that it is same deal as Bethesda so if they change their mind (which they still can) I believe that it may be more likely to happen but again this is unlikely (69 billion is a lot of money) - moving on Spyro 4 would not sell as well as an Xbox exclusive as a PlayStation exclusive.
